what are these small purple/red dots i get on my forearm after volleyball?

 I don't inveterately play volleyball.
But i was just messing and playing a slight
and after, i started to get tiny red/purple dots on my forearm
it looks like itty-bitty bruises but doesnt hurt

what is it?

 perhaps some kinda blood clot because of the ball and since your not yet used to participate in as you've said.
how long is it in your hands?
