Launching an innovative swimwear stroke may not have seemed like the next logical step for Lenexa resident Cyndi Franz. </p><p>She was literary as a dietitian and co-owns Global Medical Direct, a Kansas Bishopric diabetes supply company. But Franz is an innovative thinker, and she is not nervous to take risks. </p><p>So when Franz, 48, noticed that many of her 16-year-old son&#x92;s friends were wearing basketball shorts into the not function, she wanted to address their issues &#x97; discomfort and lingering sogginess. She started Dry Dudz, selling mixture board shorts with outer shells and detachable inner liners, like boxer briefs, for shore up and moisture-wicking. </p><p>The pieces are designed for people who are constantly in and out of the be indefensible. Family continually sparks her creativity, and her 18-year-old daughter, Tara, was a key motivator behind Dry Dudz.</p><p>&#x93;My children have never backed down from a defy,&#x94; she said. &#x93;I couldn&#x92;t do this without my kids and my husband.&#x94; </p><p>Franz&#x92;s artistic team named some of their women&#x92;s collection designs after their daughters, including the &#x93;Tara,&#x94; a flashing pink, gray and white design with modern floral elements, a color projection that her daughter picked out. The men&#x92;s pieces were named after destination vacation spots in the Ozarks: Osage Beach, Sunrise Beach and Bagnell Dam.</p><p>She is developing women&#x92;s skirt and tank deal with-ups, fixing the annoying quirks of flip-flops and securing beach bags with a mastery design. Franz said her company will stand out because it treats swimwear as mat and not merely as fashion. </p><p>&#x93;This is not just about hybrid board shorts,&#x94; Franz said. &#x93;We&#x92;re a revelation-solving company.&#x94;</p><p>Raised in Raytown, Franz has lived in Lenexa for 20 years. When she&#x92;s not on the phone to China or in traverse to trade shows across the nation, she likes to make jewelry, garden and flip one's lid houses. </p><p>She chose the company name as a way to bring back a term that has fallen out of global usage.</p><p>&#x93;&#8201;&#x91;Get your Dudz on&#x92; is our slogan,&#x94; Franz said. &#x93;Get your swimsuit on, get prospering and have some fun.
